God Bless Coal People - Click to read this article
Michael D. Duty
The history of coal-mining in America is unfortunately a forgotten history with names like "Matewan" and "Bloody Harlan" that have slipped so far back into the lexicon that they've entered the subconscious and now only a few of us can say we've heard those names somewhere before but they really mean nothing. Voters are looking for someone who can mitigate Middle East problems, sponsor education, endorse universal health care, and bilaterally promote integrated environmental management without negatively affecting the economy.

I had the privilege to talk to a couple and the question I posed was not “Why don’t you believe all that They say about global warming?” Rather, I asked, “If the data doesn’t support what They say, then why do so many of us believe it?”
